Accidentally knocked self out of ketosis
So I am getting back into Keto after holding off for a couple months due to doing it wrong and accidentally making myself a bit ill from lack of electrolytes and daily insomnia caused by electrolyte loss from diarrhea caused by eating too much saturated fat my liver was not prepared to process to soon into starting Keto.
I bought a KetoMojo ketone/glucose monitor and am poking myself senseless these first few days to learn about my body and how it responds to food.
I bought a prepackaged caesar salad today that came with non-diet dressing and a packet of crutons as well as a hand full of strawberries. That alone knocked me out of my early-stage ketosis. I was 0.6 before I had dinner and now my 3-hour post-meal ketone reading is 0.2.
Just wow. Well I'll have to take my intake more seriously and buy bags of plain greens and then add low carb dressing to suit and stick to blackberries and raspberries. Cripes!
