How low do you go for weight loss?

I did keto in the past, and just felt horrible. Weight loss was great, but I don't want to do it again. So, I'm doing low-carb now (about a week) keeping carbs less than 50 gram a day. I know weight loss will be slower, but I'm wondering what other dieters have experienced with carb counts?

    Hello!

I've been following the Target 100 plan since September and am down 25 lbs. and feeling like I will be able to sustain this for the long-term. I've never been able to stick with anything long enough to lose much - but this plan is gentle and I never feel deprived or like I'm "dieting". Along with hitting goals for water intake, sleep, stress relief, movement, and exercise, I enjoy a target of 100 carbs per day and I'm able to eat anything I want as long as I plan well. Get the book or look up Liz Josefsberg on Youtube.

Thank you SO much for your reply, and the valuable information. It's so good to hear others haven't tortured themselves with only 20 carbs a day, and have had success with weight loss.

My carb count is hovering around 50 grams a day, which is ok. Friday I caved and ate a couple water crackers with cheese. No biggy. I'm 9 days into low carbing; so far so good. If I could lose 25 pounds in less than 6 months, I'll be ecstatic! Cheers 馃槏

It doesn't have to be torture! LOL! And no "cheat" days either. Definitely get the book. Game changer.

  • Fast weight loss can be harmful to your health, and it also depends on your goals. Don't forget about exercise, it's also an important part of weight loss.
