Weight Loss Stalled - HELP!

So I had about 25 pounds to lose. I lost 12 pounds pretty quickly. But now I have been stuck at the same weight for 2 1/2 weeks. I'm doing Keto with the guidance of a doctor, who I really like. I started about 7 weeks ago. I track everything. Per my doctor, I should be at 1200 calories a day and 1400 calories a day on the days I workout (I do a kickboxing program 3-4 days a week). I've been right on in my calories, have not cheated once, and use the Keto strips that show I'm in ketosis. But I just stopped losing weight.  My doctor suggested having a "cheat day" to throw my body off, then go back to keto. By cheat day, he said he meant just add a couple of apples one day to my usual day. He also suggested I do this not on a day I workout, but a day before I workout. I did that - two Gala apples as snacks, rest was all the regular food I eat. Nothing happened. I'm starting to get really, really frustrated. I don't eat anything processed, so it's all good food - fresh, grass-fed, usually organic meats and veggies. This is what I ate today- eggs and bacon for breakfast, roasted chicken thigh (with skin) and broccoli for lunch (leftovers from last night), beef lettuce wraps with avocado and some roasted cauliflower for dinner, 1/4 cup (I measured) of walnuts for snack. This is a typical day, but I'm not losing any more weight. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

Weight loss stalls are common.  You may even be losing inches even though your weight remains the same.  Also, if you are gaining muscle from your workouts, it weighs more than fat.  Give it a little more time.

If the loss doesn’t restart, consider discussing intermittent fasting or further reducing carbs for a few days with your Doctor.  Making a change will usually restart weight loss.  You are doing a great job following keto in a healthy way!
