Getting hungry馃wasn鈥檛 before

I鈥檓 5 weeks in, successfully. Was not exercising; recovering from multiple injuries over 2 years now. Very excited to be able to start this week, starting slow with light spinning and paddle boarding.  The past three days I have found myself very hungry after hitting my 130g fat, 104g protein, 1665 calories.  Have not felt this before; contentedly fasted from 8-8 at end of day.  I know when I enter exercise it will subtract calories burned and I can view my deficit. I鈥檓 a bit fearful of wanting to overeat after I get into real workouts if I鈥檓 feeling hungry already not working out.  Why is this happening?

  • I am in week 6 and found the same thing.  My concern was hidden sugar but have not found any.  Maybe this is part of it??

  • Maybe you need more water?  I have read that as we age our bodies response to needing water and wanting food get confusing. So if we need more hydration, we might get cues for hunger.  Maybe try drinking more water when you feel hunger and see if that helps.
