Net Calories

Hello. I'm two days into the keto diet, so I'm brand new. And I'm confused about calories. My goal is to eat 1710 calories a day in order to lose one pound a week. I worked out today, and paired with all the walking I've done, right now I've consumed 1046 calories, but I've burned 1070 calories, so my net calories are currently -24. For the rest of the day, am I supposed to eat only 664 calories (1710 - 1070) in order to reach 1710 calories consumed? Or am I supposed to eat 1734 calories (24 + 1710)? (I will say there is no way I will be able to eat 1734 calories this evening. But, I will also say yesterday I felt awesome on day 1 (I did not workout). Today, I have been starving all day and I assume that's because I worked out and I'm not getting enough calories, so I have a feeling I will be eating more than 664 calories this evening).

While my main goal isn't too lose weight, what rule of thumb do I need to follow when it comes to calorie consumption in order to ensure I lose weight?

TIA!
