Coffee Addiction

I never used to drink coffee, but for some reason I developed a taste for it and have become quite addicted to it. I use 1/2 tsp stevia, 1 tsp cacao and 1 Tbsp cream. Sometimes I add MCT oil and Collagen. Anyone else have this happen to them? I find it strange since I didn’t drink it before. I was a tea drinker. I do still drink my herbal teas, but not my orange pekoe.

    I went off keto at thanksgiving and haven’t went back in. I got discouraged after being in it for 8 weeks and not noticing much of a change. When I was doing it though, coffee was also my best friend. I also added the same things to mine and sometimes even grass fed butter. Not sure if I will go back to keto after the holidays or not. My resting heart rate was very low in keto   I’m also hypothyroid and insulin resistant, so maybe it slowed my metabolism since I was not getting carbs for energy. Idk but just not sure it’s for me as a lifestyle change. It was very time consuming and expensive too.  I may just try a balanced diet and stay under 1200 calories.

    Am that way too!! I started having more when I realized it helped with satiety when I fast, and I have been hooked, ha!ha! I only have a cupper or two a day but that is till way more than I used to have so now am trying to wean myself off it (to weekends only which is when I fast) and back to more tea, lol!
