Keto Beginner

Hello everyone, I started Keto the end of last year and did really well losing almost 10lbs in less than 2 months. I fell off the wagon around January and now I am back on and downloaded this carb manager app to help with tracking my intake and to help motivate me. I have noticed however since I started running 2 months ago that I am putting on weight vs losing it which is extremely frustrating and makes me want to stop exercising completely but I enjoy running for the endorphins and stress. Has anyone else experienced this? any suggestions? I know muscle weighs more than fat but it is very disappointing to eat well but not loose.

  • Hello and welcome back to The Keto life style. Unfortunately I am far from an expert, I just started 2 1/2 months ago. The only thing I can suggest is did you measure yourself, I did not (because I figured I’m so fat I don’t even know where to put the tape) but when I look at myself in the mirror I can see that my body has changed, my general figure looks nicer, my clothes fit better, so I’m sure I lost quite a few inches. Maybe it’s also your case. Give it a try. Even if the pounds are still there for now, if you look nicer and feel better, isn’t it what your looking for. And don’t worry the pounds will go away... have a nice Keto day.
