Obese, unfit and need to change

Hi, my name is Dragonville. I used to be super fit, healthy weight with all the confidence in the world. Life knocked me repeatedly in the same way so my mind convinced myself that it was my fault, I was never going to be good enough. I knew I picked up weight and became unfit but today I stood on the scale for the first time in years.  What have I done? BMI is 40+ (obese class3).  I now weigh 103 kg. I need to lose 50kg to have a normal BMI. 

I need to change the voices in my head, my weight and my fitness level.

I started the Keto diet today and I am using this app to track my carbs. 

I need friends to help motivate me, understand what I am going through and friends to support me. I am willing to be such a friend in return.

    Welcome 🍍.  Track everything in the log, drink lots of water and consider adding electrolytes in the first couple of weeks.  Focus on carbs and calories while you learn to balance the rest.  I found entering food before eating a huge help in balancing my Macros.  Good Luck.

  • Gina thank you so much for responding. I have started with the egg fast. I also went out and bought a recipe book. I know I have it in me. The beginning is always the hardest.

    Hi Dragonville welcome and good lucK on your weight loss journey. We are all here because we want to lose weight and there are lots of people to support and give advice and encouragement. I plan my weeks food in advance so I can come close to  the target %   and amend tweak each meal when I come to make re actual  weights - like Gina I find it really helps.  As a premium member there are lots of lovely recipes and import option etc

    Someone lost 50 lbs in 5 months on here if that helps others have lost about 35 lbs others have lost less - everyone's journey is different .
