Keto Crusade!

As humans we all have addictive personalities which varies from person to person. It's so easy to get addicted to bad diets that perpetually fuel our weakness. The question I asked myself is how do I turn my negative addiction into a positive one?

My initial thoughts it's going to be darn difficult to turn a "bad" food junkie like myself into a Keto junkie but that's what I needed to do, how?

Literally did it by force feeding myself on anything relating to keto. I gorged myself on the subject, if it tasted, smelt, or looked like keto I was there ramming it in!                                          By the end of a good week’s research I was stuffed with knowledge and eager to begin a keto crusade.

I selected a start date in July then went ahead and purchased a tape measure, keto + glucose monitor, blood pressure monitor, urine strips, breathalyser, weighing scales and the Carb Manager.                                                                                                                                                               Costly maybe, but don’t underestimate that these tools are critical in mapping success and quantifying achievements. Remember, the objective is to turn my negative addiction into a positive one and without these affirmational tools to feed those positive thoughts I would certainly succumb to negative ones.

On my start date the house had been cleared of any “bad” food and replaced with keto friendly food, for the past three weeks I’ve been a food junkie, a keto one!

  • Hello and good day Nam. I guess you did the right thing by surrounding yourself with Keto things and food! I did approximately the same thing, I drowned myself in Keto web sites, articles, recipes. I wanted to learn everything about the Keto life style, because IT IS a life style and not only a diet as you need to stay on it for the rest of your living days. And that did the trick for me, thinking, living, eating Keto swiped any negative thoughts away. I don’t even crave sweets which used to be my biggest problem. I cook Keto bread, fat bombs, trail mix, etc. From time to time I do miss pasta and I don’t like the konjac ones, but in 3 months I only had it once, on my birthday and I’m good for another 3 months. Again good luck, keep us posted. 😇
