Reduction of carbs through excercise

Internet forums indicate daily carb intake/count cannot be reduced by excercise however this app indicates carbs can be "burned off" and removed from the total daily carb intake count through excercise...  what is the communities take on this?

I swim a mile every other day and have not seen this app reduce my carbs, proteins, or fat due to exercise.  I was hoping it would.  It does modify the Calorie intake, though.

  • Hey there - thanks for the note! So we leave this up to our users to decide whether to deduct calories or macros when they exercise. These are both off by default, but can be turned on if you wish to allow yourself more macros after exercise.

@Carb Manager  I keep both turned on but I rely on your suggestion as the expert. Do know it works with the calories but not sure about the carbs

Carb Manager Hi, I have both the calorie and the macro option on. I Know that exercise burns off calories, I'm not concerned about carbs as I'm under 20 every day anyway. But does exercise really allow the extra grams of  protein and fat that the app shows?
