Questions re protein intake

New to keto and loving it so far. A little confused about the macros though. Resources I’m seeing online are recommending .8g of protein for every lb of body mass. For me that would mean 144g of protein but carb manager has me at 75g. I don’t feel particularly hungry but want to make sure I’m not undereating as I know that could also stall progress.  Any insight would be appreciated!

    I have read someone critisicing CM for creating v low macro numbers,  encouraging people to effectively starve themselves. I have got my macros from a keto calculator on a website, not from CM, enter them into CM and track from there.

    Sorry to be repetitive; listen your body, eat when you are hungry, to satisfaction, natural fatty proteins, count total carbs and the rest will fall into place without the M word but I am a keep Keto simple advocate.  Last 10lbs to goal. Check out some of the many Favourite self education finds under low carb chat heading. 🌷🌸🌷

    Ps if you go to the trouble of weighing protein..... are you deducting the fat content to split down your macros? Now you know why I vote Keep Keto Simple. 😱  It’s the absence of carbohydrates (sugar in any form is carb too) that keeps you in ketosis.

  • I have problems meeting the protein levels as I barely eat meat, was vegetarian until keto but I do eat fish. Still can’t get the results.

    Im still working on it. Just eating more fish and eggs at the moment
