I’m new with goals !

Hey everyone, I’m Mindy, I recently started Keto one week ago. I’m happy to announce my first weigh in I am down 7.8 lbs:)))  I have a goal in mind , I’d like to try and loose 5 lbs weekly . 

I have Mexico middle of January, so hoping to shed my weight I gained after back surgery. 

Does this se like a realistic goal? Keep in mind I’ll be trying to do 30-45 min a day of cardio too.

    At first you lose water weight. If you need to lose like 100# you may lose 5# a week but 1-2 is feasible. That's why your highest choice in macros is 2#. If you lower your calories too much you'll go into starvation mode. Make your goal 2# a week. Then if you lose 3 you're ahead. If you lose 1.5 you know that's ok. I lost 12# this month because I had stalled & had to increase my calories. Went up 200 a day. Next month I'm hoping for 2# a week. You can't make your body do something it can't.
