Why does keto make me feel so sick?

I like the keto diet foods. I want to stick with the diet for all of the benefits, but it makes me feel like garbage. I have been doing all of the keto flu prevention things.   I just feel terrible. My workouts suck. I have no strength or stamina. I feel dizzy. I sweat. I have even been a bit nauseous here and there.   I quit last time because of how bad I felt.  What am I missing? Does this diet make everyone feel this bad at first??

    My advise would be to try just lowering your carb intake to around 75-100, make sure you eat protein, and the rest healthy fats.  Don’t do keto right now. If you feel ok then start lowering your carbs a little at a time. Ketosis is Not required for weight loss.

    I purchased the ZipFizz electrolyte replenishing drink and it helped me with what you are experiencing. I get about 40 ounces of beverage from one concentrate vial. It’s only 2 carbs, full of electrolytes, packed with micronutrients and delicious as well.

    Thanks. I think lowering my carbs gradually is a good idea for me.
