Hi, I started two weeks ago (8/15), need to drop 20-25 lbs. In two weeks I lost 10 lbs. Staying in Ketosis the whole time; losing weight, losing inches, and incorporated exercise. Everything was going fantastic; however, now the scale has stopped, actually gained almost 2 lbs. I’m still in high Ketosis and losing inches. Why have the lbs stopped dropping? Is it fat vs muscle? I am struggling to get enough calories, daily between 500-700. I’m not hungry. I drink a lot of water 64-84 oz a day. Wondering why the scale stopped or is going up... and if I need to do something differently. Help!
Posted a comment about initial water weight loss here: https://forums.carbmanager.com/r/63clvp For me anyway, after the first weeks 8-10 lbs, it's been slow going with some weeks of not losing. Stick with it, it will happen. Also, there are posts about too low of a calorie count where your body tries to maintain weight, via metabolism. Kind of like a low battery mode where it's conserving.
