Swap for bacon?

If I'm just starting this next Monday. I'm gonna use the 4 week meal plan from the book "Keto for Life". 2 strips of bacon are on the menu for breakfast several times. I don't really like bacon.  Is it ok to just skip the bacon or should I use something else in it's place? If I need something else what would be an equivalent swap? I guess I'm still confused about portion sizes, amount, etc. Thanks in advance for any suggestions :)

  • I would substitute it with something else. Some other protein and fat combo. An extra egg or some ham and some slices of avocado, or a couple of breakfast sausages or one sausage patty, etc. Anything with comparable macros.
