Confused and not losing any more?

Hi all,

I need help here I'm a 60 yr old  female that needs to lose 80 lbs. I've been on the lchf for 2mths now. In the beginning I lost 12 lbs really fast and now I'm gaining about 1 lbs a week for the last 2 week's? Still in ketosis & checking all the time. I log everything I eat. I'm really trying hard only. Only 13 net carbs a day max. Help please?

    badmojomn I agree... that's actually how I do it too, although I have some protein shakes to get the imaginary sweet treat. 😊

  • elchalk  elchalk   Hi I wondered are you losing weight on that and does that mean you go over the 100 gram of protein a day. ? I was trying to work it out. 1 oz is 29.00 gram so my estimation maybe means you have more than 100 gram protein would that be right?

  • elchalk  I don't count calories at all. I just eat a carload of fats, normal portion of protein at lunch and dinner w a veg, and some berries at night for dessert. No dairy other than the unsalted butter in my coffee. I'm losing about 2 1/2 pounds a week. But I'm only on week three so there may be a stall in my future that I'm not anticipating at this point.  So far this is working for me. I dont focus on both counting calories and counting carbs at the same time.

    Sounds like you need to go to total carbs. Net never worked for me and I never lost much. In fact gained . Try total carbs, and see if that works for 2weeks.
