Missing my veggies!
I’ve been on the keto diet 8 days and am severely missing my veggies. I used to eat them in vast quantities. I’d like to up my net carbs from 15 to 21. Would altering my macros this way still put me in ketosis? My main goal is weight loss. I don’t mind if it’s slower, I just want to get more plant based foods into my diet. Thanks for any tips!

Every body is different. Some people need to stay at 10 carbs, others can do 50 without a problem. Play around with it and see how your body works best. Remember root vegetables ( those grown underground) like potatoes and carrots are higher carbs than those above ground like tomatoes, spinach and broccoli. There are a lot of veges out there that are low enough in carbs you should be able to eat your fill. Oh and there are some great videos on vegan keto so it is possible.
