Calories or macros

Hello , I am confused . Do we follow our macros or calories . If I hit my macros I go over in my calories . If I have more fats to get close to my  fat goal I go over my calories. Does anyone have any insight ? Thank you In advance.

  • The macros are more important.  Try to get as close to the protein as you can and make sure that you keep under the carbs, and don't worry so much about the fats if you can't reach your quota.  That is what I do, and I started on 1st. January this year and have lost 25lbs so far.

    What are your macro goals? I haven't had an issue hitting my macro's and staying within my calorie limit.
