So I know you should not do cheat meals but if you do (I did last night for dinner on day 9 of my program) how long does it take to get back into ketosis and how bad is it for your body to yo-yo between the two states? Does the psychological benefit of the meal outweigh this? Because I slept like a baby last night and this morning I’m feeling a energized and happy to get back to Keto friendly meals.
I think I read online somewhere that it will take maybe 3 to 4 days to get back into ketosis if you just started the keto diet or 1 to 2 days if you started a long time ago and have already become fat adapted.
PS: Next time you want to cheat look for a keto friendly version of that food to avoid cheating.
