Changing food names in the app leads to confusion!

Sorry this isn’t quite the right place to put this post but it didn’t really fit anywhere else. As you start to get hundreds of food items in your my foods, you’ll start to notice that they’re not really categorized in a way that makes good sense. For instance, if you scan the product and it’s called Hillshire Farms smoked sausage, it will put it under H because that’s the first letter. So I went in and renamed the hundreds of products for what they were. For example, I eat several varieties of nuts so I moved all of my nuts and named him with the subheading not: and then the name of the nut. I did this with cheaters as well so it’s easy to find all of your cheeses instead of having to scroll through the entire alphabet looking for the food product that you eat it makes logging easier. However after renaming and categorizing hundreds of foods not only in my phone, but on my husbands as well, we realize that by changing the name of the product you no longer haveQuantities and it completely checks up your whole macro count. I sent a message to the developers about this because it means I have to completely start over now with all my foods. We should be able to change the name of the food without it affecting any of the nutrients or quantities! Major frustration this morning!
