Counting Calories

Question- I understand the percentages for the macronutrients. Where my question is, is how do you determine your  total  calorie daily intake to base the macro percentages. I @am a male who weighs 169 lbs.  I am 5’7”,  moderately active (weight lifting twice per week an light cardio 2-3 times per week). I am hoping to drop to about 150 lbs.

Can someone let me know how to determine my total calories or what I should be aiming for?  Thanks

Hey Andy,  go to ‘Settings’, then to ‘My Profile’.   Enter your starting height and weight (in the future, you’ll update your weight in the Measurements tab).

That will get you started.  Then go to the ‘Macros’ tab and your calories should be there, based on your height weight.

As a note, once you have your cals, you can set up your macros by selecting which program you want to follow (for example, keto).  Once you have your macros set, you can slide your calories button to the left (giving you a projected weight loss per month) or right (projected weight gain per month).  Keep your macros within the settings and that’s it.

    hope this helps
