Chili carb question

Been looking for an answer for this and all I get are recipes when I search ... Chili with NO BEANS has a lot of carbs, but if you subtract the fiber carbs, there are still a lot more net carbs than just sugar carbs. Where are these carbs coming from? Isn’t chili pretty much ground beef?

  • Does your chilli have onion, tomato and peppers? All these have carbs. Whenever I make something like chilli I track all ingredients separately, then total everything, then divide those numbers by the number of equal servings I get out of it.

I'm having the same issue and its the tomtoes & tomato sauce that I need to cut back on.....BUT...I did however find a low carb bean.  Not sure if you're interested but they are called "Eden Foods Organic Black Soy Beans". I got them from Amazon. I know there is good & bad talk about soy, but I'm not eating chili everday.

MIA I just made a white turkey chili last night, and added a cup of those. They were really good in the chili and and only added about 1 net carb to the serving.
