Newish here & feeling defeated!!

Hi all!!  First time introducing myself here!! I’ve been using Carb Manager for several months but have been really focused on hitting keto numbers for the last three weeks.   Before that I was trying for to keep carbs under 40.  Prior to using Carb Manager, I was doing Weight Watchers but my hubby was trying keto and I thought sure why not if it can help me lose some serious fat!!

Since really trying to keep carbs under 22 net (recommended by Carb Manager) I have gained one pound each week 😭.  It may not seem like much but it’s so frustrating!! I must be doing something wrong!! I’ve just lowered my daily calorie goals and hoping that will help!

If anyone has any ideas, tips or tricks, please let me know!

Stick with it. If you're logging meals properly and keeping sugar out of your daily eating, you will see progress. Just remember that the scale isn't the best indicator of your success. In fact, it can be your worst enemy, and your most deflating cheerleader. Make sure you keep carbs low, eat whole foods and avoid sugar, and you will see progress.

My scale weight fluctuates constantly but I work out daily so I know the scale won't reflect my progress. Trust your healthy choices - they won't steer you wrong. Good luck!

Not everybody reacts the same. If WW was working for you then go back to it. But, are you still eating processed foods?

Another thought... look at your activity settings and the exercise settings (if you "buy back"  calories/carbs with exercise). I don't log activity and set my calorie limits based on a sedentary activity level. Just think that is most conducive to calorie deficit and weight loss.

Agree with JP.  I had to do something similar: ‘shorten’ my height in my profile and select ‘couch potato’ (sedentary) in order to get my readings down to a realistic level.

I don’t think it’s anything nefarious by CM, just that their calculations use typical or average data for input.  Once I modified things, results took off.

    Hope this helps.
