Macros Advice

Hello,

I am almost at my 2 month mark. I continue to be positive and stick with it even without any weight loss for over 2 weeks now. I have over 60 lbs still to lose. Should I lower my Macros? Lower calories I'm taking in? Can I eat less Fat then my Macros are showing I should have, since I have so much fat to lose? My weight is not moving. I follow things and never go over ANY of my totals, Carb 18g Fat 119g Protein 88g and I stay around 1400-1450 cal per day. I feel good energy wise and am drinking tons of water.  I have a desk job and am able to work out 2-3 times a week.

I am really looking for some good advice on this as I am very determined but still new to all of this. Thanks for all your help and sharing your knowledge! :-)

    Hey Gg

My husband and I started keto on Jan 3.  And as usual he has lost 30 lbs and me just 20. We are older so for us the eating less is great. Our hard part was getting out there and moving! But we have been faithful for the last 3 week's and I must say, even though we haven't lost more weight yet, we feel much better.  I set my macros to 5/70/25 it gives me the most weight loss. And alot of the time we generally fall into less carbs, proteins and fat. I would say just stick with that and change up your physical routine and see how that works for two weeks. Good luck.

  • Hi,

I’m 3 months into Keto and have been fasting since about the 3rd week. I do a minimum 18hr fast every day. I eat lunch sometime from 12pm-2pm and I eat dinner by 6pm. So I have all of my calories in 2 meals. I only eat twice, no snacking and I eat my 1400 calories in those 2 meals. Sometimes I don’t meet the 1400 but that doesn’t seem to bother my weight loss. I’ve lost 16kg/35lbs so far and have continued to lose weight every week. I’m losing about 0.5kg a week now which is healthy. I occasionally do a 24hr fast but these are never planned and generally I do these when I haven’t eaten lunch and it’s 2pm so I jus my keep fasting and eat my dinner at 6pm. I hope this inspires you to keep going and maybe try IF if you haven’t already.
