Improve Food Search

Unless I’m doing something wrong, the food search function needs to be improved. After doing a search and adding a food I currently have to hit “x” to delete the last search or erase one letter at a time. If I hit “X”, the cursor doesn’t relocate to the beginning of the field for me to start typing, instead the cursor just disappears and I have to tap in the field before starting to type.
