Chocolate Lover

Hello everyone,

I am very new to this low carb diet and I find myself craving my chocolate desserts. I am an extreme chocolate lover! Does anyone have any good substitutions?

  • Try “Heavenly cream cheese dark chocolate Keto fudge”  in Low carb yum. Recipe from internet. Is a fat bomb as well. Yum. It has helped me during the holiday season with all the candy,etc. everyone is exposed to so that I can stay Keto! Just 1 serving a day is fine and does me!

    Sorry as a Keto lady I don’t do desserts. One big reason I chose Keto was that it kills cravings on the whole. I know some who do them though i.e. badmojomn so I am sure they will come along soon. I now eat 90% Dark chocolate ~ me a former milk or even white all the way girl previously!

  • Atkins sells low carb chocolate candy, very good. When I have a craving a grab one to go so I don’t indulge in anything else I shouldn’t.😁

    When I have a desire I like Lily's chocolate, I can find it in the Local Supermarket near me, or Whole foods. http://lilyssweets.com/

    How cool is that ! No desserts but yes dark chocolate - sounds like ur really off the sugar !  Congrats !

  • I also don’t do desserts like chocolate. I haven’t had any cravings in awhile. I do have a sugar free jello with some whipped cream every night now. And I look forward to it now. I used to be a terrible chocolate/sugar addict!

  • what I do for the sweet craving is

    Melt together, (I microwave for 30 seconds then stir and repeat til melted) 2oz 100% chocolate- Ghiradelli's and a stick of butter. Then stir in a few drops of liquid stevia  to taste, (or your fav no carb sweetener) add 1/4 cup sunflower seeds or nuts, pour into mold and chill in freezer. Break apart and keep in the fridge.  Gives you a good fat and satisfies the chocolate craving

    I'm cooking a meal for my neighbours on Friday, and one of them is following a keto diet. It means he doesn't eat carbs, including sugar. I'm trying to think of dessert ideas but I'm struggling a little! Apparently berries are ok, but no other fruits. Things like cream are ok too. One idea that I did have was to make a sugar-free dessert but have Miracle Berry tablets beforehand ljust like Dark Chocolate Keto- they change how you perceive flavour so bitter things taste sweet. I've also been googling for keto desserts, but a lot of them have sweeteners and I'm not keen on that. I'm tempted to just wuss out and serve him cheese!
