Help with leg cramps needed

I keep having leg cramps. I drink power aid ion and take magnesium, calcium, vitamin D and potassium supplements twice a day and increased salt. The salt helps some. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what did you do to help this problem? Any advice is much appreciated. I have read that in worse cases to increase carb intake. That would be a last resort. I really don't want to do that.

  • Gotta dramatically increase water consumption. You're likely dehydrated. If you are on keto and drink (lots) of coffee, it is very difficult to stay hydrated. You could try "foam rolling" the spots in your legs that tend to cramp. I think that helps by increasing blood circulation in the area and breaking up anything that shouldn't be there to be flushed out. See YouTube for how... here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki6roIdrD9Q

  • Dr. Berg on YouTube search his channel on ket cramps. Carbs have nothing to do with leg cramps.
