The slow "Quick Log" function should be improved

Why not use "checkbox" for each food item?

In current design, I need to swipe to the right, then wait for a few seconds for the "progress ring" to complete, then click the green "quick log" button - for logging one single item.

If use checkbox, we will save 50% of the clicks/swipes.

Regarding the "progress ring", please consider not every customer has super fast internet speed.
