Small Victory

So far, I’ve lost 40 lbs from my start weight of 282. In the past couple weeks, all of my clothes have reached a falling off / down point. 
 

Last week I ordered new flannel pajamas from Vermont Country Store (I’m an old lady. I wear old lady pjs). My previous pair were a 4X and snug in the thigh. Without looking too closely at the sizing, I ordered a 1X. But then I realized they probably wouldn’t fit me as the non-plus sizes only go up to large meaning that the 1X was functioning as the extra large. 
 

They came today and I told myself that them not fitting yet didn’t matter. Aside from everything else it’s not flannel pj weather in my part of California. But before I put them in my drawer, I unfolded them. The top looked like it might fit so I tried it on. Fit. The bottoms looked so small I was sure they’d never go over my hips. But I tried. They’re snug, but they fit too. Hopefully by the time it cools down here they’ll fit perfectly.
