Hi! Question regarding Gout and KETO
This is not my first time attempting the KETO diet. I was on KETO a year ago and managed to loose around 15 lbs in 3 months. sadly I was stuck there and ended up reverting back to a normal diet. Anyways, while I was on KETO, I had lab work done and it showed that I had an almost out of range uric acid level (indicative of gout.) It’s another reason why I reverted back. I’m ready to start back on the KETO diet, but the question remains. Will this diet lead me to develop gout symptoms? I’m desperate to loose weight. :(
