My macros are pretty good on average except protein, which seems to consistently be 25-50% more then recommended. How big of a deal is this and what have other people ate that is low carb but also low protein? 🥦🍖🧀
I have read where too much protein can cause an increase in insulin production. I usually stay just under my protein goal.
Look up Dr. Gustin on Google and YouTube. He has a video on protein and glucogenesis. Just type in Dr. Gustin glucogenesis. I think you'll like what he has to say. It's great information.
Protein turns to sugar so going over not recommended.
