Gatorade ZERO, Powerade ZERO, Propel  - Safe to drink on Keto or not? Will it kick us out of ketosis?
What is your take on it?

I am currently drinking these drinks for the electrolytes but I keep reading that the artificial sugars will make a gain weight. And to be honest, I’ve been at a keto plateau even after I adjusted my macros properly. Please help?

  • I've had no problems with the above. However, I switched to KetoVitals, no carbs, no sugars and come in packets. Uses stevia leaf and monk fruit.

  • There are 2 grams of carbs per 28 oz drink of G Zero.  I was drinking Nestle Splash, which is a real zero, water beverage and one day switched to G Zero when it was real hot - thinking I needed it to keep hydrated while out exercising.

I knocked back 3 of the G Zeros (28 oz) one afternoon and didn't realize I added 6 grams of carbs to my total for the day. It pays to read the labels closely.  It didn't kick me out of ketosis because my totals are already very low, but it definitely impacted my weight loss progress.

Now I use salt and potassium supplements and drink water.

Camille  Will it kick you out of ketosis? Most likely it will not.

However, if you look at the ingredients label, it is *packed*  with nasty stuff! It has modified food starch, sucralose and colorants, to name a few. I'd stay away from these products and instead opt out for electrolyte salts,
