The more weight you lose, the less calories you need to maintain your basic body functions. Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) decreases the smaller you get. Because weight loss is essentially centered on calorie deficit, the app continues to lower all of your macros so that you stay at whatever percentage deficit you set the app at. Mine keeps me at a 35% deficit. I have been using the app since June 9, 2020. I have lost over 40 pounds, and in that period my caloric intake max (via the app) has decreased by 170 and my daily carbs has decreased by 3 net carbs a day.
