Hi everyone,
My journey started at about 340# (highest recorded weight 318# but I avoided scales and know I was higher than that). I had some success with low carb a couple of times over 20 years but each time I let my health care provider talk me out of it and my weight fluctuated. On a very low-calorie traditional diet and with lots of cardio, I got down to 240# at one point, but after two years back in school my weight rose to 280# and was climbing fast. I went low carb/keto in June 2019 and am down to 192# on my way to my 185# goal. My health (mental and physical) and fitness have improved vastly and it has been worth every moment. I won't be getting talked out of it again 😎 I look forward to becoming a part of this community.
