Newbie with exercise question
I am using a fitbit bit didnt pay to auto connect. But when I manually enter my quick exercise my net carb levels drop off the chart. I know this is normal when you exercise and burn calories but it is off the chart how much lower my levels are and I can eat so much more. Is this normal 🤔

So here's the deal. As true as I like this to be. It does not help if I consume more by adding my exercise to the daily totals. I should still only consume my max allowed net carbs in order to lose weight. So even if my exercise takes my net carbs before adding exercise of 48 and reduces it to zero. Eating more is just plain stupid if I want to lose weight and reduce my body fat. Does anyone agree?

darcewilson There are a couple ways to look at this, and thus is just my own personal experiments and results, thus perhaps not the recommended consensus. I believe it all matters on how you setup your macros in the getting started part of the app. Setup there can and will include your typical activity level. So, for instance, if you pick the second one lightly active, it will tell you that your activity level will be an equivalent of a brisk walk 3-5 times per week for 30 minutes. The first choice, being a desk job with no exercise at all.
I was using the second, lightly active and anything over and above what was considered my normal daily exercise, I would log the extra stuff in.
I am now experimenting with the first, desk job setup and keeping track of all of my activity and adding it as it occurs for the day.
With that being said, I have had good results with both with lost weight and still losing weight. I do however, try to stick with the base recommendations for the day and only if need be utilize the extras gained.
Sorry for being so long winded. I hope this helps.
