Bulletproof Coffee

I’ve just completed week 1. Almost every morning, I’ve had bulletproof coffee (MCT oil and butter).....i believe I’m in the minority here, but I just don’t like the taste of butter in my coffee. Before I give it up, please help me understand the real benefit to bulletproof coffee in the morning ? Thanks

I skip the butter you can make up for the fat  loss in other ways.there are plenty of other healthy fats to eat.  Or add more heavy whipping cream to your coffee to make up for the butter.

  • I loved Coffeemate Cinnamon Vanilla creamer but as you can guess this isn't Keto. I now use sugar free french Vanilla and Skinny Syrup in Cinnamon flavor.  Satisfies my craving.

I use heavy cream, MCT oil  and Toroni sugar free hazelnut syrup.  I started out putting a teaspoon of Erythritol in my coffee along with everything else but it did a number on my stomach so I cut that out. I used to use butter but have put it aside since putting the tasteless MCT oil in my coffee.

I don't even notice the butter....I use VitaCup Genius Blend coffee - I add Stevia, MCT oil, butter, heavy cream, and cinnamon, then froth.

  • I really like coffee, used to be able to drink four cups of coffee a day. I can't drink anything else either, so I stopped at two cups of coffee without sugar a day. Still, it's supposed to be enjoyable.

The benefit to bulletproof coffee (adding healthy fats like butter and MCT) is to help you meet your healthy keto fat goal for the day, and get those ketones rolling out. It works - but so do other things - so it's really your choice
