High calories from fat

I’m a bit confused. I add fats to my food ( nuts, avocado, cheese) but they’re very high in calories !! I find myself eating 2000 calories when my bmr is 1500. Any advice ?

Enter your food before you eat it. Set your portions to meet your calorie goals. If you're having to overeat on fat to compensate for your protein and carb numbers, then you need to reduce your proteins and carbs to meet your macro goals.

Fat is higher in calories (9 calories per gram) than carbs or protein.
