Down 45lbs in 6 weeks (UPDATE)
I wanted to post a quick update on my progress from my original post but first, I want to thank everyone for their kind words of encouragement! Sincerely, it means the world to me!
So, I started my journey on April 5, 2019 and it's been 132 days. My starting weight was 400lbs. my goal is to be down 100lbs by October 5th(six months). And another 50lbs by April 5, 2020. I am very happy to say, I stepped on the scale this morning and my current weight loss is...91lbs!!😁👍I have 9lbs more to lose in 51 days and believe I can crush my original goal and put me closer to my year end goal. My target weight would be 200lbs. That is half my starting weight and I would literally be half the man I used to be.
I recently started a YouTube channel to vlog my progress and help motivate others in their weightloss journeys. You can find it by searching Ketogenic Karl in Youtube if you want to see before and after pics. Once I reach 100lbs lost, I will be posting a story in Carb Manager with photos. I really believe anyone, barring some sort of physical limitations, can be successful with the ketogenic way of eating. I want to spread the word and encourage as many people as possible who struggle with their weight to NOT go under the knife and try this first! Weight loss is possible! A pain free, healthy, active life IS possible!
God knows, I've suffered under the Keto diet! I mean, sitting at the bar eating a fresh burger topped with ham, bacon, onions and mushrooms with no bun, while drinking an ice cold Michelob Ultra has been excruciatingly difficult BUT I learned to cope and so can you!😜
