Almond Flour Alternatives?

I am allergic to all nuts EXCEPT Coconut. Can you please tell me if I can always substitute Coconut flour for Almond flour in recipes? Do I need to use the exact same measurement or will I need to change the amounts? Are there other flours that I can use?

Thanks

Coconut flour is usually not a 1:1 exchange, it is really absorbent. A lot of recipes on line will tell you either in the recipe or in the comments (if someone asks for it). Are you allergic to sunflower seeds?

You will likely need a trial and error, but what about chestnut flour?  Its different from peanuts and other tree nuts and comes in a flour format, obviously only if you aren't allergic to them? Note though that both chestnut and coconut flours are higher in carbs than almond flour.
