Weighing food - uncooked or cooked weight?

Hi all,

Not sure which to add onto the app? The uncooked weight or the cooked weight?

Just eat it raw.  Problem solved.  Seriously though, I'm not sure.  I've entered uncooked at times and cooked at others.  Just did some research and sources said, mostly, nutritional information is based on uncooked.  Once I thought about it, it makes sense.  Some people like their meat rare and some like it well-done.  Then, there's baked, broiled, grilled, etc.  That would all be a real challenge for labeling.  I'm not sure it's that precise anyway, but the inter-webs says uncooked weight from what I saw.

yes thought about it this morning it was more to do with the broccoli I cooked last night and didn’t weigh it raw but cooked it seemed a lot of weight and carbs so yes for sure it should be uncooked weight.

    Thanks
