Recipe Editor

I wish that when I hit "save" in the recipe editor, it did not kick me out of the editor.   Or better yet, an auto save function as each ingredient is entered.   I have a problem with constant crashes when entering recipes, resulting in loss of data.  About 50% of the time when I search for a food to add to my recipe the app crashes and loses my progress, sending me back to my Daily Log, or more often whitescreening and having to be restarted.  So I have started saving after every successful entry.  But the app kicks me back to My Foods or back to my Daily Log after each save.  It makes recipe entry extremely aggravating.  I've given up on trying to enter while cooking, and end up entering after I've finished eating, which sometimes leads to unpleasant surprises.
