It's been a little while since I've updated here, so why not?
I started 3 1/2 months ago at 327.2 lbs. Now I am sitting at 280.4 lbs for a total loss of 46.8 lbs gone!
Pants are looser and a belt is now absolutely required, shirts and jackets are looser and I'm gaining more confidence. More of my closet is now available to me for wearing, and it feels great!
Remember, plateaus are not plateaus until they last for longer than a month!

I have been having to wear the top of my pants up at my eyebrows :D They are just too big. I can finally start going thru the "Someday" pile of jeans I have been keeping for when I started losing weight. I have had a few clients notice the weight loss. I am also working on my posture at this time. Between wearing this damn back brace and doing the Keto WOE, I am all up in the will power most days. I would like to focus on getting out of the house more and making fitness fun! I go to work, go home... BORING lol. I hope you all have a great day!

My bulletproof coffee is just any coffee (I will usually brew it in a Keurig with a reusable filter). Then I add 2TB of Kerrygold, grass fed butter and 1TB of MCT oil. I blend it together in a mini bullet mixer. I drink that for breakfast and then will eat lunch around 1-2pm (depending on when I start feeling hungry).
No worries about the questions! I like answering them! I'm 4 months in and am fluctuating between 46-50 lbs gone!

Great job, that's fantastic! I've noticed that a lot of my clothes that were just out of reach are now being worn, and even some of my clothes are getting baggy!
I'm actually getting over a hurt back (again) and am hoping that by continuing to lose weight that I'll get rid of my back problems.
Future goals, being able to play 2-3 rounds of disc golf without a problem! Right now when I finish a round I'm physically done. Usually huffing and puffing lugging my bag around the course. I'd love to enjoyably enjoy the game!

I just started this journey today (10/4/18). Going pretty good. Was diagnosed with diabetes about 6 years ago. I was able to bring everything back to normal within 3 months by following a Primal/Paleo diet. I continued to follow this lifestyle for 3 years. Then enters the new husband...who LOVES sweets. I fell off the wagon, and for the past 3 years have done nothing good for my body. I take a very small dose of glimepiride a day, but I don't like the side effects. Hoping to get back to controlling everything with my food...like I should have been doing all along.

Started attempt #2 , 13 days ago. 40 years old, 5'5" 190 pounds. Want to lose 40.
Started low carb, lowered to very low carb. Will see how my body reacts to this before trying to go down to keto again. So far I am in ketosis moderate and hope to stay there. Will weigh and measure in a few days.
Good luck everyone

No health issues thankfully. But seeing 393 pounds on the scale was eye opening. Got mad and got started September 1. So far working through 20 pounds a month. 2 1/2 months in and at 343 pounds.
Current goal is 293 though really should be aiming for an unrealistic 230. Each day is a new day. Scale is going the right direction most days though a few frustrating delays along the way.

I started on my weight loss journey at 222 pounds on Jan 2, 2018. I started counting calories and lost 7 pounds by Jan 22. When my motivation starting going out the window I joined a weekly weight loss group called TOPS. By Jun I was down to 190. I stayed at that weight until I learned about Keto from my daughter in Colorado while I was visiting during the summer. I lost another 15 pounds rapidly. I am still losing and was down a total of 53.4 pounds before taking a break for Thanksgiving. I'm still off plan and am going to lunch at my favorite Chinese restaurant tomorrow. Monday I will be back on keto.

Hi, I am a male, 77yrs old started keto 3/12/2018 at 424 lbs I am 6’4”, today 12/2/18, I weigh 302 lbs down 122 lbs in 81/2 months. My goal is 245 lbs. I keep my net carbs below 15, my calories below 1500 and my protein around 100+/-. I did not exercise. The past three weeks I have moved into carnivorous... bacon, eggs, Kerrygold butter, meat, (mostly beef...ribeye is great) I include beef liver or heart once a week. I do take vitamins and minerals ie: potassium, magnesium, himilayin salt, d,b, c, k3, multi, and a probiotic. My AC1 has gone from 5.7 to 4.5 my thyroid medication which I have been on for 30 years was decreased 50%, in two more months can discontinue?? all my blood tests are perfect, I feel great, extra brain cells just popping out of my head. I have been on oxygen for three years. My goal is to be at 245lbs and swimming a mile a day and off oxygen by April 2019 that is what I used to swim three years ago (6 days a week). Love, love, love my son, he got me started on keto, what an absolute life changer.
Note: I watch a keto/carnavor blog on Utub every morning on my iPad for continuous motivation. I hope this will motivate someone to change their life in a positive way!!!

I started in August and lost 15 pounds (yay!) but got sidetracked. Still eating keto SOME of the time (although pretty sloppy, stopped counting), which is I think why I've only gained 2 of it back. In a holding pattern mostly!
So.... my original start weight was 270. I was down to 255 in October. Now starting again for REAL today at 257.
My first goal is to lose 12 more pounds by the first week of January (5 weeks) to be under 245.
My overall goal is to get under 200, which means 70 pounds total, 57 to go.
I am 5'10" and 45 years old. Female, I wear an 18/20.
My commitments to myself:
- log everything, count macros
- water water water WATER!
- walk or move or do some exercise at least 5x/week, even if small
- no mindless eating
- make more recipes, planning and leftovers are my friends!!

I started Nov 1st, so 6 weeks ago. I'm down 21lbs. I still have 75 to go. I'm 5'2 and started at 235lbs. I have to take steroids daily for the rest of my life due to a disease. It makes it impossible to lose weight the way I always have in the past, counting calories. So I'm trying keto and so far it's working!

Female, 5'6", age 58-59. Started September 25 at 245lbs. This morning 208. Weight goal 135. Real goal, to stop hating my appearance, to not be tired and achy all the time, to have enough energy to give my dogs a less sedentary life, to find a brighter outlook. I am doing well so far on both my weight and my true goals.

Female, 58 years old, 5'6" in height. Started one week ago at 178. This morning, down to 171. I'd like to reach 150 by April 1 and 140 by June 1. I know from past attempts that I'm in the honeymoon phase and things will slow down over the next week or so. But I'm hoping that reading your successes will help keep me motivated and that one day my success will motivate someone! I have given up alcohol for the month of January, so I think this has a lot to do with my initial loss. Now I'm thinking I should give it up altogether - so much sugar in wine, plus I think it makes me eat more and crave carbs. I will have to fight the urge during social occasions when everyone is drinking! Or I'll have to moderate with just one glass once in a while. Good luck to all of you!
