Difficult Keto

Is it possible for someone to do Keto that doesn't eat red meat and is lactose intolerant and doesn't drink coffee?

Is it possible or is Keto just not for me?

  • I've found a lot of dairy free recipes. And I'm eating mainly chicken and fish. So I'd say yes..

  • Absolutely! It's all about healthy fats. You don't have to eat dairy or red meat. There's other ways to get your healthy fats in.

Yes it is! I have a friend who is vegetarian/ Vegan and has lost quite some pounds.  But you just have to cut dairy and red meat, there is a lot available to you, on this diet.

Olive oil, butter and grape seed oil is great on your vegetables. So just add more? 😁

As already said, yes 😀 Water is most important ~ coffee x 3 mugs is my preference, peppermint tea is lovely if I fancy a refresh in the afternoon. Love nut butters, hemp hearts with mushrooms done in risotto, so may great fats ~ & there are so many recipes & websites to support anyone doing  Keto. All the best.

  • Eggs and avocados are staples for me. High in healthy fats, moderate in protein, and most of the carbs (from the avocado) are fiber.

You can do it. Just make sure you do your research on it. Lots of fats. You actually may do better than all of us non consuming dairy. I'm feeling like a lot in one day makes my body inflamed, especially cheese. My homemade low carb pizza turned by body into pure swell hell the other morning.

  • It’s possible. Check out Dr. Eric Westman on YouTube. Protein is medium to low on Keto.

Yes I sure think you can ! I’m starting to experiment w adding supplemental ketos and that might get metabolism started in that direction from what I’m hearing here/ reading. Don’t like taking pills but there are powders to mix in tea or water ha ha. Let’s keep talking on this thread - doing keto 🌱 vegan or keto vegetarian - a most valuable community !
