rydavis1yez For breakfast I usually drink 1 bottle of water, 12oz coffee with 1 packet of Truvia & 1 Tbsp of heavy whipping cream. I eat 2 eggs & bacon or sausage. Sometimes it will be 2 hard boiled eggs chopped with a tsp of Dukes Mayo. (0 carbs).
Lunch is usually leftovers from the dinner the night before.
Dinner- I will eat about 4-5 ozs of protein (ribeye steak, fish, poultry). And yes, I eat the skin on my chicken. Lol If I feel the need to bread something, I use pork rinds. Just put in food processor or blender until it is good and ground up. ( 0 carbs) No sugar, no bread, no starches and no flours of any kind. I eat either 1 cup of raw veggies or 1/2 cup of cooked veggies.
Snacks- Sometimes a cup of sugar free jello with 1 Tbsp of ReddiWhip. Sometimes it is a low carb egg custard pie that I make or a low carb pumpkin bake that I make.
I check everything for carbs now. Things that I never knew had carbs. Just have to be aware and watch portions. I also cut out all fruit because they are all high in carbs.
I have been trying out new low carb recipes several times a week. I have found some really good tasting ones and a couple of duds. Lol
I have also discovered that most places will accommodate you if you ask when eating out. From restaurants to fast food joints like McDonald's or Wendy's. Example- McDonalds: double cheeseburger, no bun and no ketchup or Wendy's: double stack, no bun. I went to a neighborhood bar & grill and ordered a Philly Cheesesteak with no bun. If I order a salad I will tell them to hold the croutons. Also oil & vinegar are your best bet as far as salad dressing goes or Marie's blue cheese dressing has 0 carbs for 2 Tbsp. Stay away from fat free & low calorie dressings. Also processed foods even if the say low carb I found them to still be pretty high in carbs. You have to read labels.

connieinwisconsin Down 14 lbs as of today. It is hard especially cooking different things for my husband and son. I miss potatoes & rice more than bread. We went to Red Loster last week and my mouth just watered for the cheese biscuits. I think that was the hardest for me. I'm not a big bread person unless it is good bread from a restaurant. I have caught myself tasting things I'm making for my family. 馃槼 If I do that I make sure to log even just a taste. The carbs add up fast if I'm not careful. I was also surprised to learn that even spices have carbs. So I am trying hard to use them sparingly except for the salt & pepper. I'm a work in progress & learning.

no carb bread recipe
3 eggs separated.
1/4 tsp cream of tartar.
3 ounces cream cheese room temperature.
In one bowl beat egg yolks and cream cheese until well blended.
In
second bowl beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks.
Mix yolks to whites carefully.
Spray cookie sheet. Drop in small rounds or spread whole
