Really bad bloating , and calories ?

Hiya, I’ve been keto for a month now, not much progress , in fact I think I gained weight, but I have hope that it’s just bloating or indigestion. My stomach feels like a rock from all sides and it’s very uncomfortable. I’ve been in and out of ketosis and I jump back in pretty quickly, and my doctor says I’m  under eating.  Any advice ?

Can't give advice without more information. How many calories are you eating? What foods are you eating? Are these foods different substantially than ones you ate before you started keto? Are you eating a lot of processed foods or are you eating mostly  fresh whole foods made at home?  Could you be having some kind of reaction to food you're not used to?  What are your macros set for? Are you sticking with them?

Moondrake  my net calories are between 900-1000 calories m’y bmr is 1550 ish . I eat about 1200 but I work out and I’m active. I’m eating homemade food like greens, roast beef, cheese etc. I’m sticking to my macros as well, I’m weighing all my food as well. I avoid all foods that make me bloated like gluten and milk. ( not lactose intolerant I eat cheese normally but milk upsets my stomach) are there foods I should look out for maybe?

helmyn If you are eating a lot of cheese it could be a problem.  If milk upsets your stomach you may have problems with dairy overall.  I have to watch my dairy intake or it will mess me up, and I have never been able to tolerate milk at all.  Also check your fiber and see if you are getting enough.  If not perhaps up your leafy greens (spinach is carb cheap) and add psyllium husk capsules or powder to your day.  I would suggest eliminating dairy entirely for a few days or a week and see where you are at.  I eliminated dairy for the month of April and to my surprise my persistent diarrhea disappeared almost immediately.  I was only consuming a few oz of dairy a day, I thought it was the high fat messing with me.  In May I'm going to add back a little dairy (butter, PLEASE!) But I'm going to keep a close eye on how it affects me.

Also, have you started a new vitamin regiment? Some vitamins aggravate people's gut.

Are you eating any sugar alcohols? Certain ones mess with my tummy.
