Too few calories???

I’m not hungry and have to force myself to meet the macros suggested, especially fats. I was down 6 lbs the first week and now up 1.5 since I’m not forcing ALL the macros. Can I take in too few calories?

  • Calories and net carbs are limits. Protein is a goal to maintain muscle mass. Fats are a limit as well and eaten to keep you satiated. How far below your calorie limit are you? Is it every day?

The minimum recommended daily calories for women's health is 1200.  You can drop below that from time to time, especially thru fasting.  But you don't want to consistently drop below that, it can negatively impact your health and make it harder in the long term to lose weight.
