So I started keto on 27th December, so far I've only lost a lb, I'm 10.3lb 5ft 4.
I've only just found this app and although I'm trying to meet my macro limits I am finding it tough, I have an at home desk job so don't get alot of exercise, I am doing every other day 24 hr fasts.
I've been making my fat limits up with pure mct coconut oil, and my brother who works out have me a couple of his nutrogo low carb/sugar protien bars which helped bring my protien up today. My carbs however were left at 9 g used today. I try to eat more but I get bloated and full fast.
Is it ok to make up the fats missing with mct oil? Or coconut oil coffee. I'm a pescitarian so only eat fish and ages cheese and creams are a trigger for my vertigo from vestibular migraine disorder. Yeah, not made it easy have I lol.
The urine strips are dark purple at the max so I'm judging that as being in ketosis around the 4 mark due to them being unreliable compared to blood strips.
I'm hoping I see progress soon as it is disheartening, not to see any progress I even went up a lb over last couple of days. I'm scared I'll actually put weight on instead of lose it.
