Urine test strips

I’ve been doing Keto for about a week now, and I think I’m over the “flu” and everyday I’m hitting my goals and under my carbs! I just started using the urine test strips yesterday and they have a pink color to them as I compare them to the chart in the bottle, but they change color throughout the day. Why is that? And if the color isn’t as dark as I would like, what am I doing wrong? The color is between light and optimal number range. Thanks guys! I just want to make the most of my Keto habits!

  • The strips just give you an idea of what you're flushing out in your urine, at least that's my understanding. If you are showing even a trace you're in ketosis.

  • I have been using the Nurse Hatty Ketone Strips, and they have helped me to keep on track.  I know that they are not as accurate as a blood test, but they are simple to use and help motivate me to keep my fats about 70% of my daily intake.

Yes, Savage sticks as my group would call it

Whenever you eat or ingest anything your levels will fluctuate.

Try testing only mornings or evenings.

    Never test in the morning.

Test in the middle of the day and try to test the same time everyday.
