Still hungry

STILL hungry after 3 months on low carb. Only lost 15 pds. Any advise?

    Hi Wlemon!  If you're hungry, eat!  Here is what my day looks like.  Breakfast is just coffee with 1 tbsp. 18% coffee cream.  That's it.  At noonish, I make 3 eggs, with some shrooms, and chevre goat cheese if I have any.  Add 1/2 avocado.  That's brunch.  Dinner is around 5-6pm and I have a humungous salad with baby lettuces and spinach, and my meat or fish about 100 grams added in, plus some bell peppers and cucumber, with a dressing of half olive oil half apple cider vinegar, and some Nutritional Yeast mixed into it.  I use 2 tbsp. for a salad which gives me 1 of olive oil and 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar to enter into carbmanager.  So all eating is done between noon and 6pm ideally.  That makes all the difference in the world.  No snacking needed as you'll be stuffed.  chock a block full.  Promise!

  • I agree with Supermom that if you’re hungry eat. I shoot for between 35 and 60 net carbs, and 1500 calories. Morning coffee 4 cups with 2 Tbsp half and half cream in a huge insulated mug. Brunch around 10 AM with 3 oz. smoked oysters, 1 slice low carb bread, 1/2 cup cucumber slices with 1 Tbsp ranch dressing, 4 oz snack cup of fruit in own juices Supper between 4-5 Pm, 5 slices of low sodium bacon, then a 1 1/2 cups vegetable medley cooked in bacon grease, usually broccoli, carrots, green beans, onion, cauliflower with my favorite seafood seasoning on the veggies. About 9 PM, 2 slices of low carb bread, 1 1/2 tsp apricot jam with real sugar, 1 1/2 Tbsp butter. Other snacks if I’m hungry during the day are 2 hard boiled eggs or 1/4 to 1/3 cup salted peanuts or walnuts. Hope this helps with ideas. Best wishes on your success.

  • Add more protein and healthy fat. Avocado and olives are my go to. Full fat cheese. It’s helps me.
