Day 2! Hello!!

Hi! I am Denise and I am on day 2 of Keto. I did really well yesterday, my net carbs were right on point (20g). I was a little under my fat and protein, but I realized what I did wrong (didn't have a protien with my lunch). I have done this before and was able to lose quite a bit of weight so I am planning on sticking to a low carb diet once I reach my goals. I have a sugar addiction that I HAVE to break! Besides being overweight, I am also high risk for diabetes due to family history. I will be 37 next month and have lived my entire life overweight, it is past time to fix that! My BIGGEST struggle right now is making sure I am drinking the right amount of water, according to all of the research I have done, I have to drink a gallon of water a day! I did it yesterday and am on my way to getting it done again today!!

CW: 318

GW: 200 (per my MD, this is the healthy weight for me based on my height and body structure).

    The most common recommendation I’ve read/heard for daily water intake is 1/2 oz per pound of body weight.  Drinking too much may flush minerals from your system.

  • Add in some Gatorade zero it helps with replacing the Electrolytes lost when drinking so much water.  Will also help curve the keto flu. But make sure it zero the low sugar stuff still has lots of sugar
